For decades, clean, safe, reliable nuclear power has been providing our province with affordable electricity. With Ontario’s economy turning the corner, now more than ever, we need nuclear to provide us with the electricity we need to grow and prosper.
Today in Ontario one out of two homes, schools, hospitals, farms, factories and businesses is powered by nuclear. Ontario’s energy plan is counting on nuclear for half of our province’s power – now and for decades to come.
The Bruce Renewal Team is a coalition of unions, construction companies, engineering firms and Bruce Power, Ontario’s largest independent electricity provider, working together to renew one of the world’s largest nuclear facilities, the Bruce Power site located in south-western Ontario.
The Bruce Power site is home to one of Canada’s largest infrastructure projects. This means thousands of skilled jobs, new investment and reliable electricity for Ontario ratepayers.
Nuclear power will not only keep our energy prices competitive and create jobs but will mean cleaner air for our communities. The Bruce Renewal Team is working together to keep the lights on today ensuring the province has affordable energy for tomorrow.
